Morocco Tour Program

Day 1 — Istanbul → Casablanca → Marrakech

After meeting at Sabiha Gökçen Airport, we depart for Casablanca. Upon arrival, we continue by private coach towards Marrakech, one of Morocco’s most fascinating and colourful imperial cities.

After breakfast and hotel check-in, we begin discovering Marrakech, famously known as the “Red City.” The city’s distinctive architecture, built from reddish earth-toned materials and decorated with blue-green Moroccan tiles, creates an atmosphere unlike anywhere else in the world. Palm-lined streets, lively souks, horse carriages, exotic scents, and traditional riads offer visitors a truly unforgettable introduction to Moroccan culture.

Our first stop is the magnificent Koutoubia Mosque, the spiritual symbol of Marrakech and one of the finest examples of Andalusian-Islamic architecture in North Africa. Its elegant minaret dominates the city skyline and reflects centuries of Moroccan artistic heritage.

We then embark on a spiritual journey with visits to the blessed resting places of:

• Sheikh Muhammad ibn Sulayman al-Jazuli, author of Dala’il al-Khayrat

• Qadi Iyad, the renowned Andalusian scholar and author of Ash-Shifa

These important ziyarat locations hold a special place in Islamic spiritual history and remain deeply respected throughout the Muslim world.

Later, we head to the legendary Jemaa el-Fnaa Square, the beating heart of Marrakech. Filled with colourful stalls, local storytellers, musicians, spice vendors, traditional performers, fresh juice stands, and Moroccan street food, the square offers one of the most vibrant atmospheres in the Islamic world.

After free time and dinner, we transfer to our hotel for overnight stay.

Day 2 — Marrakech → Casablanca

After breakfast, we continue discovering Moroccan culture and traditions.

In the morning, we depart towards a traditional Berber Village, located near the foothills of the Atlas Mountains. Here, we witness authentic Berber life among earth-coloured homes and mountainous landscapes. During our visit, we learn about Berber hospitality, family traditions, local customs, and daily village life while enjoying traditional Moroccan mint tea.

We then continue to an Argan Oil Cooperative, where we discover the fascinating story of the argan tree, traditional production methods, and the medicinal and cosmetic importance of Morocco’s famous argan oil. We also learn about regional herbs, spices, and natural healing traditions.

Afterwards, we enjoy free time beside a peaceful riverside area surrounded by nature. Guests may relax, enjoy the scenery, or take photographs of the beautiful landscape.

Later, we visit the magnificent Bahia Palace, one of the finest masterpieces of Moroccan architecture. Built in the 19th century, the palace impresses visitors with:

• Intricate carved cedar wood

• Colourful zellij tilework

• Elegant courtyards

• Decorative fountains

• Andalusian-Moroccan artistic details

Following the palace visit, we enjoy free shopping time in Marrakech’s famous traditional souks, where guests can explore:

• Ceramics

• Moroccan handicrafts

At the end of the day, we depart for Casablanca.

Day 3 — Casablanca → Fes

After breakfast, we begin another fascinating day exploring Morocco’s historic cities.

Our first visit is the breathtaking Hassan II Mosque, one of the most magnificent mosques in Africa and among the largest in the world. Built beside the Atlantic Ocean, this architectural masterpiece amazes visitors with:

• Giant marble columns

• Delicate mosaics

• Massive prayer halls

• Oceanfront views

• Remarkable craftsmanship

Following the mosque visit, we enjoy a pleasant walk along Casablanca’s coastal promenade, where modern city life and Atlantic Ocean scenery blend beautifully together.

We then continue towards another important historical landmark: the famous Hassan Tower. Although unfinished, this monumental structure remains one of Morocco’s most iconic historical symbols.

Next, we visit the historic Kasbah of the Udayas, known for:

• Narrow blue-and-white streets

• Ocean-facing fortress walls

• Traditional Moroccan houses

• Peaceful Andalusian atmosphere

This charming district beautifully reflects Morocco’s historic urban lifestyle and architectural heritage.

After our visits, we continue our journey towards Fes.

Day 4 — Fes

Today we dedicate the day to exploring Fes, Morocco’s spiritual and cultural capital.

Fes is often described as a living medieval city, famous for its maze-like streets, traditional craftsmanship, ancient madrasahs, and centuries-old markets.

During our city tour, we explore the UNESCO-listed Fes el-Bali district, where narrow alleyways transport visitors into another era.

We discover:

• Historic leather tanneries (panoramic view)

• Traditional spice markets

• Copper workshops

• Handmade artisan shops

• Ancient madrasahs and historic architecture

We also view the exterior of:

• Al-Attarine Madrasa

• Bou Inania Madrasa

Both are extraordinary examples of Moroccan-Islamic decorative artistry.

Later, we visit the panoramic viewpoint of the Fes Fortress, where we enjoy breathtaking views overlooking the old walled city and its historic skyline.

Our final stop is a traditional Zellij Tile Workshop, where master craftsmen continue Morocco’s centuries-old ceramic mosaic tradition entirely by hand. Here we witness the incredible artistry behind Moroccan geometric tilework.

After the tour, return to the hotel.

Day 5 — Fes → Chefchaouen → Tangier

After breakfast, we depart towards the magical mountain town of Chefchaouen, famously known as the “Blue Pearl of Morocco.”

Nestled within the Rif Mountains, Chefchaouen is renowned for:

• Blue-painted streets

• Whitewashed houses

• Decorative doors

• Flower-filled courtyards

• Peaceful mountain atmosphere

Upon arrival, we begin our walking tour at the lively Uta el-Hammam Square, the social heart of the city.

We then see:

• The Grand Mosque (exterior)

• The historic Kasbah (exterior)

• Traditional blue alleyways

• Local artisan shops

• Scenic photography spots

Walking through Chefchaouen feels like stepping into a dreamlike world where time moves slowly and the atmosphere remains calm and peaceful.

After free time and exploration, we depart towards Tangier.

Day 6 — Tangier → Istanbul

After breakfast, we begin exploring the fascinating city of Tangier, where the Mediterranean Sea and Atlantic Ocean meet.

Our first stop is the famous point where these two great bodies of water appear side by side without mixing — one of Morocco’s most spectacular natural views.

We then visit the legendary Hercules Caves, famous for their dramatic sea-facing opening and mythological history.

Following this, we continue with our Tangier city tour. As we move through modern boulevards and historic quarters, we experience the city’s unique blend of cultures, architecture, and coastal life.

During our visit to the historic Medina, we explore:

• Traditional narrow streets

• Local markets

• Historic buildings

• Artisan shops

• Authentic Moroccan street life

One of the most meaningful stops of the day is the visit to the tomb of the famous Muslim traveller Ibn Battuta, whose journeys shaped the history of Islamic travel literature.

After completing our tour, we transfer to the airport for our return flight.
